The comments, opinions and overall content of this web site have been
collected & collated by: K.Yates from his own memories as a Cadet from 1942 to 1947, the RAF,
1947 to1949, as a Civilian Instructor from 1949 to1994, RAFVR(T)Officer
from 1944 to1962, and a member of the Civilian Committee from 1962 to 1967.
I also wish to thank ex Co's, Officers & Cadets from 1940 to 1965 and
1966 to 1995
who have provided information, help, memories and photos from their archives

these include Ex.Warrant Officer J. Jenkins for his memoirs prior to me
joining 1471 Horwich Squadron ATC and
Mr. B. Birchall for his comments & site testing.
