These Web Pages are dedicated to the ex Officers, Cadets and Civilian Instructors and members of the Civilian Committee who formed 1471 Squadron in 1941 and kept it going throughout the War years and until 1995.

They do not include the years from 1996 as 1471 Squadron, has it's own Official Site.

1471 Horwich Squadron ATC was one of the first to have it's own History Site.
I hope this may encourage other Squadrons in every Wing to develop their own History Site as Officers, Cadets and Civilian Staff of these Squadrons have been, and still are, for the youth of this country, the backbone of many of the Communities across the UK.
